Valley of Rocks Lynton

Here's a photograph I took last year out at the Valley of Rocks Lynton.....

located in North Devon..

pity it wasn't a sunny day, in fact it had been raining quite a lot just prior to taking the pic.  This is a lovely place for a walk.  Wikipedia has a piece about it here
...quite funny that they describe it as a 'dry valley'...I know what they actually mean, but had they been there on this particular day, I'm not sure they would have added that statement!!!

[If anyone would like to use this photo for sketches, paintings etc. then please go ahead and use it].

Have a great weekend
everyone

    1. ...It is Robin. We are sure to go over there again before long (it isn't far from us) and then I'll take a lot of photographs to show what it looks like the Other side of those rocks! Might even find some wild goats too!

  7. Beautiful photo! The area looks really nice, despite the clouds and rain. There is something mysterious in it.

    Kind regards!

  11. I have the very same photo, but me age 5 sitting with my cousin's wife on the grass and a cricket match going on down on the cricket field! My cousin and his wife were on their honeymoon (1950) and were staying with my mum and dad in CM and took me with them wherever they went! My first honeymoon at age 5!
