located in North Devon..
pity it wasn't a sunny day, in fact it had been raining quite a lot just prior to taking the pic. This is a lovely place for a walk. Wikipedia has a piece about it here
...quite funny that they describe it as a 'dry valley'...I know what they actually mean, but had they been there on this particular day, I'm not sure they would have added that statement!!!
[If anyone would like to use this photo for sketches, paintings etc. then please go ahead and use it].
Have a great weekend
everyone

ReplyDelete...I think it must be Cris.
DeleteIt's very pretty. And it does look quite foggy and rainy. But still beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat particular day was 'a challenge' for walking I must admit :)
DeleteLooks like an interesting place to hike. :)
ReplyDelete...It is Robin. We are sure to go over there again before long (it isn't far from us) and then I'll take a lot of photographs to show what it looks like the Other side of those rocks! Might even find some wild goats too!
DeleteBeautiful photo! The area looks really nice, despite the clouds and rain. There is something mysterious in it.
ReplyDeleteKind regards!
...You are right Katarina, it is mysterious :)

DeleteI have the very same photo, but me age 5 sitting with my cousin's wife on the grass and a cricket match going on down on the cricket field! My cousin and his wife were on their honeymoon (1950) and were staying with my mum and dad in CM and took me with them wherever they went! My first honeymoon at age 5!
ReplyDeleteI hope this pic brought back good memories for you. Bet it's strange seeing somewhere you know so well :)
